About Kylin Teppanyaki

Located at 2002 S Wentworth Ave, Chicago, IL 60616, Kylin Teppanyaki operates as a teppanyaki serving Chicago in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Chicago, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Illinois run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 10:30 am–8:30 pm. Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Kylin Teppanyaki is a fun spot to grab a freshly grilled meal right off the flat top. The meats and vegetables are seared to order with a great balance of savory sauces, keeping everything incredibly hot and flavorful. The counter service is very quick, which makes it perfect for a fast lunch while exploring the area. It is a solid choice if you want standard, satisfying comfort food packed with classic grilled flavors.
